The Vail Resorts Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available:
  • Year-round for full-time employees (salaried, hourly and seasonal), their dependents and household members
  • Year-round for employees who have been put on Seasonal Inactive Status (SIS’d)
  • For up to three months after separation from Vail Resorts
Counseling, digital tools, wellness resources and work-life support are all available through the EAP via 24/7 services.

Connect with highly trained clinicians and therapists to help you and your family members with:
  • Anxiety, depression and stress
  • Grief, loss and life adjustments
  • Relationship/marital conflicts
Six free face-to-face counseling sessions are available per plan year. Vail Resorts has identified “Preferred Providers” in many of our communities who you can easily contact directly for face-to-face therapy. These providers are familiar with our resorts and EAP benefit, as well as culture and are an easy way for you to get the help you need. You can always contact a counselor of your choice, but you may need to cover some of the cost.

In addition to in-person consultations, virtual therapy sessions are also available.

For employees who would like a more flexible approach to counseling, connect directly with digital message-based counseling.

Digital/Chat-based counseling allows employees to connect with a counselor within one business day either through digital-messaging or telephonic/video options through the counseling app.
Receive exclusive access to unlimited mindfulness resources including live and virtual information sessions, on-demand content and immersive programs on a range of topics, from anxiety to sleep to leadership.

Meet your personal wellness goals with free and confidential coaching to help you along the way. A coach can help you set goals, provides regular progress checks and answers questions along the way as you achieve what matters most to you – including fitness, nutrition, stress, injury recovery, relationships and more.
Supportiv offers on-demand, professionally moderated, peer support group chats that are tailored to bring together individuals who share similar lived experiences. The chats follow a conversational arc that goes from venting to learning coping skills. You can access the services 24/7/365 with a wait time of under 1 minute.
